Whee! Big storm here today! We had a very tiny tornado that passed over, but only touched down for a few seconds south of town. Not much damage in town... a couple of places lost tin and shingles from the roof and one of the store in the shopping center where Mom works got all their windows blown out. It wasn't that bad over here though (which is only about 8 blocks away from Mom's office.) We just got about 30 seconds of hail, some strong thunder overhead, and about three to five minutes of hard rain.

Birthday Count: 2 days! [I still have no clue what I'm doing for it!]

And now (because none of you probably care)... here are my top five picks for the new anime season so far...

The Top Six (because I never know if I should call Ergo Proxy a winter series or a spring series.)

• Jyu Oh Sei - Great animation, interesting story... kinda crappy opening theme. (Oh and me likey Third.)
• Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - The happy go lucky, slice of life moments are boring, but man... when this show gets creepy it's awesome. It's got me afraid of tiny towns and cute little girls.
• Ouran High School Host Club - No words can describe how much I love this series.
• xxxHOLiC - Yeah... it's different from the manga, but still enjoyable. Introducing Doumeki early gets major points. :P
• School Rumble 2nd Term - The awesome continues in season 2.
• Ergo Proxy - It had a bumpy start, but I'm totally hooked now. Vincent is massive love and Pino is adorable.

Runners Up:

• The Third - Aoi Hitomi no Shoujo - I've only seen two episodes, but I really like the feel of the series. I just wish I could stop thinking of Ilpalazzo (from Excel Saga) every time I see Jyouganki. (I blame the hair... and the fact that they're both voiced by Takehito Koyasu.)
• .hack//Roots - Just as slow as SIGN, but Sakisaka is awesome with his goggles and plant hair.

NANA got dropped till the backstories are over. I also started watching Full Metal Panic! and Hunter x Hunter. Both are awesome.

Am I the only person who really adores the Jyu Oh Sei OP? I think it's wonderful, it's my fave OP song of the entire season... with exception to Ergo Proxy's. ^__^
