queendork5680 was a bit of a let down after last week's episode. This episode was mostly comedy focusing on The Mod Squad.
Let's see what happened this week...
- This week's picture in the opening is Kon from the frisbee Jump cover.
- Ichigo - secretly a Quincy?
- I totally missed the memo that said that Claude could fly. (It was hilarious though. He's just going around in circles making weird noises.)
- Yuzu walks in on Ichigo while he's yelling at Ririn and Kon and now she thinks he plays with dolls.
- The Kon abuse continues. They even make him cry when Ichigo and Rukia run off after a Hollow. (Stupid Ichigo abused Nova too!)
- While Ichigo and Rukia are gone The Mod Squad attempts to Bount-proof the Clinic (including stringing wires in front of the door, making a crappy basket trap, hanging a weight from the ceiling that will fall on them, and stringing CDs outside of one of the windows) much to Ichigo's joy and delight.
- They don't catch any Bounts, but they do manage to get a Hanatarou with pie on his face.
- Ririn and Claude decide to cosplay as the new bug doll to help Ichigo train.
- Nova continues to be awesome. (Espically when he gets all embarrassed when Rukia asks him if he's okay and hides his head in his shirt.
- Ririn and Claude run away from Rukia who is blasting them with spells. Ichigo pops Kon out of his body so they all go search for Ririn and Claude (who they think were attacked by the dolls.)
- Again... they never manage to catch any Bounts in their traps, but they do get one slightly burnt KonIchigo.
- Ririn and Claude are hiding in an alley making up a gameplan when they hear someone coming.
- It's Keigo! Who is still a slave to his sister. He stops just in front of the pole that Ririn and Claude have climbed up and starts talking to someone off camera. That someone would be the afro guy from Rukia's division!
- I'm totally kinda shocked they decided to add this in already. But who cares? It gets me more Keigo!
- Rukia spots Ririn and Claude and begins to pummel them with blast spells. She misses them, but nails the afro guy. Keigo sees the whole thing. He promptly freaks out and runs away.
- Ririn and Claude make it back to the Clinic, but are cornered by Ichigo, Rukia, and Renji who has just arrived on the scene. They pull out their final weapon - super combination!
- Renji gets kinda excited by this and prepares to fight... only to find that Zabimaru has been replaced by a broom and the super doll monster has Zabimaru. Renji wets himself. (It's only the effects of Ririn's illusion powers. But it was freaking hilarious! XD)
- Ririn uses her illusion powers to stop Ichigo by making it look like Yuzu is a hostage. She then uses her powers on Rukia to make her think she's being attacked by bunnies.
- Ririn then tries to use her powers one last time, but the CDs they strung up outside the window for their Bount trap reflect it back on her causing the super combination to break.
- But before anyone can give the finishing blow Nova and Kon arrive to reveal the identities of the dolls.
- Everyone heads back to the Urahara Shop where they talk for a bit and then Ririn and Kon get in a fight.
- Back the Clinic... Karin arrives home to find that even Isshin has been caught in a Bount trap.
- Ishida returns next week. (I'm not really sure what's gonna happen next week. There's a shot of a Shinigami foot stepping on Kon (probably Ichigo or Renji... might be Hitusgaya since according to the episode title he's supposed to "move") and then the rest is mostly of Ishida and Urahara talking in the front of the store.)
- In the Shinigami omake... Maki Maki talks to Kenpachi, Yachiru eats a lot, Ikakku sleeps, Yumichika does something, and then gets elected to do something by Kenpachi.
So I'm kinda disappointed that this episode was mostly comedy after last week's, but it has Hanatarou, Keigo, Isshin, and Nova awesomeness... I can't complain. I'm really kinda surprised they added in Keigo being able to see Afro Guy. A lot of people will be probably be all "OMG!MANGA OVER!" but I think it might help later on. (Plus as I said... it gets me more Keigo.)
