Another Monday... D.Gray-man is getting an anime in October. I'm happy and a bit worried since the manga really isn't all that far along.


Definitely Watching:

• Honey & Clover II -- It's really the only series I'm totally looking forward to this season. As most know, I totally and completely love HachiKuro so me being pumped up for this isn't really a surprise.

Excited About (but to a lesser extent):

• NHK ni Youkoso! (Welcome to the NHK) -- This should be a part of my "Definitely Watching" list because I really did enjoy what I read the manga, but GONZO is in charge of production and if there's one thing GONZO is good at it's totally ruining manga to anime adaptations. I'll probably watch the whole series even if GONZO totally screws it up though.
• Night Head Genesis -- I don't really know much about this series, but what I've heard has spiked my interest. It seems to be a horror/thriller type series... and it has hot guys exploding people's heads.
• Bokura ga ita -- I love a good shoujo... hopefully this will be one. The art and some of the character design reminds me a little too much of Honey & Clover though (they have the same Art Director). But I'm excited about the fact that it's coming from the same studio that did Mushishi and the director of Fruits Basket
• Coyote Ragtime Show -- It looks like a good, fun space series. I really like the funky Bebop-ish music in the trailer. The animation looks really good (and not dripping with 3D CGI) and I really like the character designs. I hope it's good.

Will Check Out At Least One Episode:

• Binbou Shimai Monogatari -- The story sounds pretty interesting, but I'm worried about the pace. It seems like it'll move slow, but hopefully it won't feel draggy.
• Innocent Venus -- For some reason it reminds me of Last Exile (I think it's has something to do with the character design, but I'm not sure.) It' mecha, but hopefully it's good mecha.
• Demashita! PowerPuff Girls Z -- Because the American version just isn't good enough! It's the Powerpuff Girls only different. I'm both looking forward to and dreading it. Mojo Jojo's character design scares the crap out of me (and I hope he still repeats him self, but I'm betting he probably won't.) But my biggest complaint: They have fingers. I'll watch it to soothe my curiosity, but I probably won't like it.

I read the first volume of D-Gray Man. It's pretty good, so I might watch a few episodes of the anime.
