Sep. 1st, 2005 11:00 pmThe loonies come out when disaster strikes. I just can't believe some of the reports coming out of New Orleans and the other Katrina affected areas. Our town has offered to take in 100 families that fled from Katrina. No word on where they're going to put them all. We don't really have anything large enough to hold them, but I'm sure that something will be worked out.
Anyways... not much else happening here. Just watching gas prices climb. ($2.78 at Wally World earlier today.) In the paper the owners of a local station wrote a letter to the editor about the gas prices. Four of the distributors he deals with are out of stock and another one wanted to charge him three dollars plus a gallon wholesale. He told them they could keep their gas.
I wanna make a new layout for my journal, but I can't decide between something with xxxHOLiC (because Yuuko is just awesome) or something with You're So Cool (because it could be all cute and lovey.) I'm leaning more towards xxxHOLiC because I can do it with darker colors and I really have the need for something dark for some reason. EDIT: I really like the coloring for this Flexible Squares color scheme. I think I may try my hand at customizing that layout.
