queendork56I saw the first episode of a new anime called Loveless and I loved it. It is a shounen-ai (boy love) title, which I usually don't graviate toward (as they often sacrifice story for content) but this one has a nice little mystery going so far. Plus, I love the art and animation. It's all so pretty. And it has catpeople! (Okay, so I don't really care about cat people... but Soubi is nice on the eyes.)
ANN's summary:
Twelve-year old Aoyagi Ritsuka lost his only kin when his brother, Aoyagi Seimei, was killed under mysterious circumstances. One day, he meets Wagatsuma Soubi, who claims to know his brother. It turns out that Soubi and Seimei used to be a fighting pair, whereby Soubi was the "Fighting Machine" and Seimei was the "Sacrifice". Now that Seimei is gone, Soubi 'belongs' to Ritsuka who will become his new "Sacrifice". After learning that Seimei was killed by an organisation known as the "Seventh Moon", Ritsuka decides to join forces with Soubi and investigates the truth behind his brother's death.
So if you're not creeped out by boy love or the fact that a 20 something year old is hitting on a 12 year old (didn't seem to stop people from watching FLCL) then check it out.
