After the insanity of last week... Bleach 34 takes us back to Soul Society.

We need to plan next week's post-game party. The following captains will bring the following items.

Soi Fong with be making "Being a kick ass ninja is better than sex" cake.

Captain Unohana will be bringing various baked goods.

Captain Ichimaru will handle party games.

Captain Komamura will of course be hosting the party at lavish beach home.

Captain Hitsugaya will be bringing the snack foods.

Captain Kyouraku will handled the booze.

Captain Tousen will bring the cups, plates, and plastic silverware.

Captain Zaraki and the 11th Division will be bringing their Hi-Def plasma screen TV.

Captain Kurostuchi will handle entertainment.

Ummm... shouldn't someone bring like some juice or something for Captain Hitsugaya? He is underage after all.

Ukitake can bring it. That what he gets for not showing up.

And Aizen is dead and this is the point in which Bleach moved from a story about a kid with a big sword and bad spirits to something bigger.

It scares me that the shots of Hanatarou healing Ichigo are giving me slashy vibes. WHYYY? ;__; I didn't read it that way in the manga!

(Why do people hate Momo? She made one very human mistake of judgment... she had to choose between the two people she trusted the most, and it's not like she had the same hindsight we do in knowing Aizen's real self.)

She believed the word over her all mighty over the word of someone she's supposedly known, trusted, and loved in some way, shape, or form for over 50 years. She turned on her back on him and chose to attack him even though there was no living proof whatsoever of his guilt or hearing his defense. If she believed Hitsugya enough to go after Gin why didn't she believe him when he told her he was innocent? Even when things were revealed to her she never even questioned why the finger was pointed at someone close to her. If someone had killed Gin and Gin left a letter to Kira that said "Hinamori killed me." Kira would have been able to see that it's false because Hinamori isn't capable of that. Hell if someone killed Byakuya and Byakuya left a letter to Renji saying that Rukia did it... even Renji would have enough sense to find out what the hell was going on.

Momo loses all points for her blind worship. She chose to turn her back on the trust she built with someone she cares about and someone who cares about her to blindly believe the words of her all mighty.

Now her tiny world has come shattering down around her and I bet instead of actually standing up and doing something about it she turns into an even bigger ball of whine. At least Kira is able to see through the bs to see the truth.

Yes, her emotions were controlling her but she never questioned him about accussing someone close to her and that just pisses me off more than anything.

I think it makes more sense to trust the person you're closest to in the present, and for Hinamori, that would be Aizen. The way things were shown in the manga, it seemed like she and Hitsugaya grew apart after they entered their respective divisions, and during the time after that she became closer to Aizen. The amount of time you've known a person doesn't have anything to do with how trusted they should be. I have lots of friends I've known only a year who I trust more than certain ones I've known since elementary school, and that's because they've given me more reason to trust them in the relatively short amount of time I've known them than the ones I've known for longer ever did. And Aizen is very good at manipulating people into gaining their trust -- he did it to the entire Gotei 13, and Hinamori got effected the most because, as his vice captain, she was the closest to him.

I guess the main thing that makes me skeptical of the dislike for her is the question of, "what if she had been right?" What if Hitsugaya really had turned out to be the bad guy instead of Aizen? As readers we were given hints that this isn't the case, because we could see Hitsugaya's thoughts and certain actions when Hinamori wasn't around. But if all we had known was what Hinamori knew, it would've been impossible to guess at which one of them was deceiving her. If it had turned out to be Hitsugaya instead of Aizen, would her turning on him still have been seen as "blind faith" in Aizen or would it be seen as "good judgment"?

Why not wait for that to actually happen before assuming things? Just because you don't like one thing about her doesn't mean she's an all-around horrible person that's never going to do anything right.
