So I decided to try some of the new animes from this season today (because OMG! Honey & Clover has ended and Bleach cannot be the only series I'm watching...)

I've already watched the first episode of Blood+ which is based off of the moive Blood: The Last Vampire. It was pretty good. I liked Blood: TLV when I saw it, but it was just so short (it was only like 45 minutes) and it just lacked "meat" to the story. Blood+ was a gorgeous piece of animation (but duh... it was done by Production I.G. when is there stuff not amazing to look at?) It was good overall though. I just hope the story turns out good.

I downloaded Black Cat but I still haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet. GONZO has really messed with the manga timeline amd will probably do things the way they want to (but then again when have they ever actually followed a manga?) But even if the anime is totally sucky Keiji Fujiwara (Hughes in FMA and Shuu-chan in H&C) is doing Sven and Shinichiro Miki (Urahara in Bleach and Kurz in FMP) is doing Creed so I must watch. ^_^

I also downloaded an anime called Cluster Edge. When I read the summary at ANN I thought "Mai-HiME with boys" but I haven't actually watched it yet. (I haven't really seen Mai-HiME yet, I've only read part of the manga which is totally different from the series.)

Paradise Kiss starts next week. I hope it's good. I really, really like the song that's gonna be the opening that was played in the trailer.

I wonder if anything else good is coming out...

Hmm...thanks for the heads up on some upcoming anime. :) I kept seeing things about Black Cat, but I was kind of iffy on checking it out. I guess no harm in doing so!

I'm also a big fan of Mai HiME, so I'll probably give Cluster Edge a try. The "second season" of Mai HiME, Mai Otome started this season, too. The first episode was enough to shake many of the fans at maihime and make them realize it's seemingly completely unrelated to the first show. I'm still really looking forward to it. :)

I think it confused everyone. They tried to cram a story into 45 minutes between all the shots of a schoolgirl with a sword chopping up stuff. I just hope that Blood+ does better with explaining stuff.

I like the Black Cat manga. It's sorta cheesy, but I just love it. When I found out that GONZO was doing the anime I knew that they probably wouldn't follow the manga, but I'm hoping that it comes out good anyway.

I thought about checking out Mai Otome when I heard it was going to be different, but I haven't gotten around to downloading it yet.

I though about downloading Black Cat but I read all of the reviews and decided against it. Blood+ however looks promising.

Cluster Edge sux to me, but I loved Blood+. Can't wait until the next ep.
