Random update...
-- Birthday Count: 10 days
-- Jyu Oh Sei just might by my favorite series this season.
-- Hilary Haag is a crappy voice actress. Screeching during emotional scenes = no. I have to watch Chrono Crusade with the fucking closed captions on to understand half of what she says.
-- Watched Advent Children last night. Not totally crappy. It had good action and I really liked the music, but the plot was weak. (But it's a video game so I wasn't really expecting much in terms of plot.) But I will say that Reno and Rude are made of awesome. (Crispin Freeman for the win!)
-- After seeing some spoilers about Death Note chapters 106 and 107 I'm very tempted to pick it up again just so I can LOL at it.

Dude, no one has been talking about Jyu Oh Sei at all (okay, so I've crapped out on reviews myself too)... but I've gotta agree with you, it's one of the better series this season by far. I'm really enjoying the setting and the pacing, the characters are really interesting. It doesn't feel like there's only been two episodes yet. I can't wait for the third tomorrow. ^^

Good ol' Advent Children. That movie epitomizes the Square-Enix ethic of graphics and production values before anything and everything else. Did you see it dubbed, or subbed?

And yeah, the soundtrack is teh win. FFVII has always had one of the best soundtracks, though.
