[that time again...]

Not a whole lot to talk about this time since it's mostly all Koga backstory... but let's get to it!

- Opening shot for this week: EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! OMG! Look at him and his Lupin-ness! *kicks all the "this filler is gonna go on forever" people*

- So anyway... Yoshi is having to problem avoiding Rukia's attacks so Claude comes up with a plan... he turns into Renji which gives him a sword. He takes on Yoshi as both Orihime and Rukia attack. Rukia prepares a huge spell, but Yoshi is able to avoid it by flying on her fan. She then stabs Claude in the shoulder which takes him down and makes him turn back to normal.

- Over with Ichigo... Ichigo is still down and as Koga looks at him he starts to overlap with some else... start flashbacking!!!

- We head to a small farm house where Koga once lived. Jin and his lackey of the moment arrive and Jin talks with Koga for a while about Bounts and then gives him a book about Dolls. Jin leaves and Lackey starts to leave, but says something that gets his ass kicked. Cue the montage which shows Koga teaching Lackey the manly ways of farm living...

- Later on the two head into town to sell off their potatoes. Koga then buys a spiffy second hand coat for Lackey. On the way back to the farm house they pass a group of shady looking individuals. The gang starts following them and tries to pick a fight with Koga, but when they realize that they can't hurt him with their fists or their sticks they run off. Koga and Lackey continue on their way, but before they get home an angry mob appears behind them carrying weapons. Koga calls out his doll who scares the pants off the mob.

- A bit later Koga is sitting at a fire in front of a cave while Lackey pratices self defense. The two talk for a bit and Koga gives Lackey the Doll book he got from Jin. Later that night Lackey is in the cave performing a ritual to get a Doll. Koga realizes something is up and races from the farm house, but he gets there too late. Lackey exits the cave and shows Koga his Doll. Lackey lays the Doll on the ground and kneels in front of it. They talk for a moment while Koga watches on. Lackey seems pretty happy with his Gleep Doll and the Doll seems pretty happy too. While the doll is laughing Koga realizes that something is wrong and moves to stop Lackey. But at that moment the Doll goes all crazy. Koga gets to his feet after being knocked backwards and looks for Lackey. Lackey has got the green glow and reaches out for help from Koga, but before he can reach him Lackey turns to dust. Later on Koga and Jin are at Lackey's grave. Jin breaks out the waterworks. Jin and Koga talk about something before we head back to the present.

- Ichigo is still down (and looking pretty good with his clothes all ripped up and stuff.) He manages to get to his feet. Koga notices something behind him. One of the lights from the construction site is swinging... It's the terror that flaps in the night! No wait! I mean it's Kira!

Next week: It looks like we're getting another one hour special. Kira takes on Koga! And I must say that Mabashi's Doll is all sorts of cuteness.

Shinigami omake: It was kinda weird since it had Tousen in it.

I am a bit interested in Lackey's death... he was able to make a Doll, but I don't know if he was a Bount. And he started greensparking like a Bount who loses it's Doll, but he turned to sand like the people who have their souls sucked out. Hmmm... (also for some strange reason Lackey reminded me of a blend between Ichigo and Jean Havoc...)

I didn't even see that, but I was all "OMG!HIRAKO! OMG!HIRAKO!" when it came on. That was totally unexpected. :P
