It's been forever since I've updated this thing (I promise to start coming back more!) but I have to say this...

As of episode 15 the Bleach dub officially wins at everything for the following reasons...
1. Keigo using the word "boobalicious" to describe Orihime.
2. Urahara asking Yoruichi "Who's your daddy?"
3. Kon to Yoruichi: "Scared you off already, huh? What a pussy!"

Even if it totally goes downhill from here (which it won't) this dub still wins.


Also if you're not already watching it... WATCH KEKKAISHI!!! It has Mayumi Tanaka (Luffy in One Piece) as what just might be the coolest old lady ever.

Hey, good to see you! I agree with 1-3. I totally spit out my Pepsi at the "Who's your daddy?"

However Renji's voice depresses me. It just doesn't sound rough enough for me. I hope they make Byakuya sound prissy XD

Speaking of OP, now that 4Kids dropped it, who's going to dub it now?

Renji's voice... I'll have to give it more time. Wait for him to get into "badass mode" and "complete dork mode" before I can pass judgement on it. Yoruichi's cat voice was awesome though.

I wanna know who is playing Byakuya! *crosses fingers for Kirk Thornton or Liam O'Brien* (though O'Brien is already playing Ukitake so that probably won't happen.) Oooh! Dave Wittenberg could be good too. Subaru from X was sort of Byakuya-ish.

I don't know about One Piece. A lot of people are all "It failed in America so no one will want to pick it up." but I think it's still popular enough over to get picked up by someone (even if it just gets a sub only release.) FUNimation was in the bidding war back when it was being licensed and now VIZ seems to be all up in the Jump anime so it could be either one of those. (Though 4Kids license won't expire till 2009.)

Oooh yes. Liam already played Sora and Grampa Ishida. He can take a fourth character LOL. Too bad we have to wait two weeks to find out Byakuya due to the Inuyasha marathon.

2009? Geez. I would definitely grab it if it was done by somebody else, even if it's only the later episodes. 4Kids almost totally prevented me from giving OP a chance.
