Sinien - a smaller city. A great destination for small town folks just looking for a bit of excitement or for the metro crowd looking for a break. A small business center. Smaller population with an average crime rate. Think a place where not crazy people would live if they had to choose between these three cities.

Powers/Abilities: Slight healing factor, trained in basic hand to hand, armed with two guns and a variety of bullets
Costume:, Usually white button front dress shirt with black vest, black pants, black boots, black gloves, knee-length black trench coat, black cloth mask with holes cut for eyes (long enough to hang down in the back). Will often only be the mask and coat over whatever she is currently wearing.

Appearance: Medium tall. Slender build. Dark brown hair that falls to mid-back. Blue eyes.
Personality: Generally laid back. Enjoys her work (both day and night).
Age:Late 20s/Early 30s
Family: Oliver Carver (retired police officer), father; Rebecca Carver (teacher), mother; Jackson Carver (newspaper journalist), older brother
History: Adopted as a baby by Oliver and Rebecca Carver, Sarah had a normal, happy childhood. She discovered her healing factor after cutting her hand while helping her mother prepare dinner. When she was 18 her father was shot in the line of duty and now walks with a cane and was forced to retire. Upset at the rate of crime in her city, Sarah became a vigilante. Knocking out criminals and leaving them for the cops. The local papers dubbed her the Night Angel.
Motivation: Clean up her city and protect the innocent.

Day Job: Struggling Magician
Base of Operations:

Powers/Abilities: The ability to create illusions/ some elemental control (very weak)
Costume: Dresses extravagantly because of his career as a magician. Top hat, frilly shirt, cape. When he's fighting crime he adds a half mask and ditches the top hat.

Appearance:
Blonde, has his hair just kind of short and shaggy when he's not preforming (kind of like Light Yagami's but parted on the left, not covering his whole forehead). Slicks it back kind of like Argeno when preforming.
Has fair skin and blue eyes. Not particularly piercing blue eyes though, just blue eyes. Wears rectangular shaped glasses.
Height is 5'11", Weighs about 150 pounds.
Age: 27
Personality: Eager to please, overly enthusiastic about being a super hero, looks up to the others. More clam and relaxed on his own. Somewhat opinionated. Awfully flamboyant.
Family: Rose Bailey (grandmother) Jeffery Bailey (grandfather)
History: His parents passed away when he was five so he was raised by his grandparents.
His grandparents told him stories about caped crime fighters during his childhood and he grew to admire them deeply. When he got older, he became interested in being a magician from other stories he was told, though in modern times there's not much demand for them. Through this he learned that he actually had the power to create illusions all along! He later learns that his parents were the superheroes his grandparents always told him about and that's where his powers came from.
Motivation: Strong sense of justice and sense of wonder about being able to help people.

Real Name: Jessica (Jess, Jessie) Maddock

Day Job: High school student, but she ditches a lot. As in she goes to school like, once every 2 weeks. Sometimes less. Because if she's at school, how can she be kicking crime in the face?
Base of Operations: Albastru.

Powers/Abilities: Speedster
Costume: SHITTY CELLULAR DEVICE PIC COMING ORZ. Made of PVC so it's like, shiny. Darkish blue with white accents.

Appearance: Shoulder length blonde hair, bright green eyes. 5'0", has a very light, slim frame.
Age: 17
Family: Jennifer Maddock (Secretary at Bryan's law firm), mother; Bryan Maddock (Lawyer), father; Benjamin Maddock (deceased), brother.
Personality: Very enthusiastic and jumpy most of the time, almost always has a smile on her face. She prefers to be optimistic. She thinks crime-fighting is about the coolest thing ever...Actually, she thinks a lot of things are the coolest thing ever. Has a tendency to use the term "Wicked!" a lot. She's a lesbian, and has a girlfriend (Blayne Angeles/Blayze; her parents are not aware of this). Watches a lot of anime (which inspired her to become a superhero in the first place), particularly likes shoujos and anime with lots and lots of action. Has a very "GO FOR IT!!" view of the world. When she sets her mind to something, she becomes very determined and won't give up until the job is done. Headstrong. When she's sad, she's incredibly sad and depressed, and when she's mad, she's raging and spitting more fire than her girlfriend. Whenever the scum she's beating the crap out of is fairly easy, she likes to do other things while she's fighting: text people, pretend she's a ninja, she's even tried reading before (it didn't work out too well). A fairly eccentric person.
History: When Jess was 9 years old, her family moved to Albastru because her father wanted to be somewhere where there was a lot of potential for lawyers. She and her two-years-younger brother Ben rode a public bus to get to school, and when Jess was 11 and her brother 9, the bus was jacked and held for ransom. They threatened to kill someone every hour that the money was not brought to them, and her brother was killed in the third hour. For a long time Jess refused to leave her room; she wouldn't even go to the funeral. It was during this time that she discovered anime and superheroes, and she fully immersed herself in them. The first time she left her room after 4 months was to buy the fabric for her costume.

Jess was born with her powers. None of the family has any idea where they came from, but her mother realized them when Jess was just a small child; one second she'd be at the bottom of the stairs and the next she'd be knocking things over in the upstairs bathroom, and this was before she even learned how to walk. At first, Jennifer tried to keep it a secret, but soon her father noticed, and began to ignore Jessica and regard to her as a freak. When Jess was seven, they adopted a son because Bryan refused to think of his other child as his own daughter. Jess and Benjamin got along perfectly well though, and they were incredibly close. Because Ben liked her, Bryan began to look a little more lightly on his daughter, but when Ben died, he reverted back to his old ways of disowning her. He still doesn't regard to her as his kid. Jennifer tries to make up for it the best she can, but she's incredibly concerned about what her daughter does during the day and at all hours of the night...
Motivation: Her motivation for fighting crime is to protect the people like her brother; innocent people who don't deserve the crap Albastru gives them.

Powers/Abilities: The ability to stop time at will. Some hand-to-hand combat.
Costume: Skintight dark blue bodysuit with knee-high boots. Has a small knife that she keeps in a sheath on her thigh. Wears a small blue mask, and keeps her hair fairly short (no longer than shoulder-length).

Appearance: Fairly tall (about 5'8" or so), thin, not terribly curvy (though not flat as a board, either). Short, wavy auburn hair. Pale skin. Brown eyes.
Personality: Passive-aggressive bitch. A misanthrope who uses underhanded tactics to punish the people who have done her wrong (and not just using her powers). Will carry a grudge for ages, and has an excellent memory.
Age: mid-20's.
Family: Mother--Hannah Parker, single parent. Older brothers--Austin and Alex (who used to pick on her a lot as a kid). Father unknown.
History: Was bullied a lot at school and at home. Her mother was too busy trying to juggle two jobs and take care of three children to pay any attention to her, so she withdrew into her own little world. She first realized she could stop time when she got angry at a bully who had taken away her favorite book and was taunting her with it. While the bully was frozen in time, she stole it back. After one particularly bad bullying experience at home, she ran away from home and hasn't been back since. She lashes out at her family by stealing money from their bank account and keeping it for herself. Has become a bitter, angry person.
Motivation: Punishing those whom she perceives as having done her wrong.

Family: None. Both parents were killed in a car crash two years ago.

Personality: She likes to have fun, and can be very energetic. She's smart and can catch up in classes with a little effort. She's usually very calm and rational, but loses her cool when it comes to Jess. She doesn't mind keeping her relationship with Jess a secret from her parents. She also loves swimming.

History: Blayne was born with her powers. Her parents first noticed it when she was six months old, when she had a fever and set the thermometer on fire. They learned to live with it once they realized that she's pretty much healthy otherwise. However, she tends to get a strong fever if she uses her powers too much at once. Her parents taught her not to control her temper and never use her powers in public.
Two years ago, her parents were pulling out of a restaurant and got hit by a drug dealer fleeing from the cops. She spent a month locked in the house and burned a ton of things. Now she lives alone in an apartment, except for when Jess stays over.
She revealed her powers to Jess after they'd been dating for awhile. She caught her using her superspeed one night in Blayne's kitchen and was like, "Holy crap you're a freak too!" Then Jess convinced her she should become a superhero too. Also, she got her into anime.

Motivation: At first she did it to avenge her parents. But now she does it because she generally likes it. She feels that if she's going to be a freak, she might as well enjoy it.

Real name: Frank Wellins
My identity is not known to the public.

Day Job: Not really a job but he's a hobo who yells at mice, kicks kids who walk past him. Climbs stuff. Yells at people. And goes to a hair salon and asks for beer.
Base of Operations: Albastru

Powers/Abilities: He can jog faster than a average human being. But he can't sprint well.
Costume: Viking helmet, red speedo, and high heels.

Appearance: Surprisingly clean for a hobo. Blue hair and pretty tall and muscular.
Age: Unknown
Family: He was raised an orphan but due to his schizophrenia he thinks he killed them when he was a child to be like Batman cause his parents were dead and wanted to be like him.
Personality: He has schizophrenia and always wants attention. Has very low self-esteem cause everyone makes fun of him for being a terrible superhero. He also thinks he's like Batman and carries a little toy Robin in his speedo at all times.
History: Grew up in some orphanage. Everything else is unknown.
Motivation: To be like Batman.
