Holy shit on a stick.

There is something wrong with my toe and I have no fucking clue as to what. About two weeks ago I was laying in bed rubbing my feet together and I hit this spot next to the toenail on the big toe on my left foot and it hurt. I looked at it and it was this little bump thing. I thought that I had dropped something on it and couldn't remember. It only hurt when pressure got put on it so I thought maybe it was a deep bruise or something.

Well just now I was sitting with my left leg in my lap and the top of my left foot was itchy. So I scratched it and rubbed my hand over my big toe. There was this scab. So I was all "WTF" and got to looking at it. The scab came off and there's this little red (could be from blood though) beside my toenail where that bump was and it's freaking me out. Mom says it's just an infection (she was a LPN for almost 10 years so she knows something) but it's still freaking me out. I spent the last five minutes in a paniced state. (Mom wasn't here.) But I feel a bit better now.

Ingrown toenail. My bro had it. They removed his whole bloody toe cause it got so infected.

*hugs* Same thing happened to me. Went to the doctor, who gave me antibiotics and some cream to put on it, was under instruction to soak it twice a day and keep it wrapped and clean, and it's all better now ^_^ Also happened to my bro and best friend, who both waited longer about it than I did and went into surgery for it, but all they did was cut the sides of the toenail. *pats and loves*
