So I spent yesterday catching up on anime and being driven insane by my cat.

Yakitate!! Japan 34 made me all happy cause it was all Suwabara. :)


First: I love new opening animation! It's still very quirky. I love new ending song too.

No Morita kinda makes me sad. I thought I would really miss him... but I don't. I've got a love square to focus on!

I still feel really bad for Takemoto and Yamada. Esp. Yamada. Stupid Mayama! I love seeing him get all over-protective of her in 14. I want to not like him for pining after Rika when he's got Yamada, but I just can't. He's so cute when he gets all sad and pathetic. ^_^

How much do I love the new guy, Nomiya? He's like Mayama and Morita smushed together. (Which makes me want to ship him with Yamada.) The scene where Mayama is telling Shuuji that Nomiya is "too cool" and it has the flashback to Nomiya talking on the phone with his girlfriend and he throws the phone in the ocean... oh my goodness... I nearly died laughing. That was just so hilarious for some reason.

As for the love triangle... I didn't expect Mayama and Rika to know each other.. that well. That was actually pretty shocking. I'm still torn about that triangle. A part of me wants Mayama and Yamada (she was so cute in his coat!) together and a part of me wants Mayama and Rika together.

Bah... I love this series. I sat and watched three episodes and in a row and didn't feel like three episodes. I'm sad to know that there are just over 10 episodes left. :(

rofl! I DIED at that part, the flashback to when Nomiya tossed the phone into the ocean. My sister didn't laugh very much, but I found it to be very amusing. The fact that Mayama lamented over all the lost girl's phone numbers on the phone didn't help. XD

Dude, Mayama totally took advantage of Rika. First of all, she was all drugged up on painkillers, and secondly, she had finished having a dream about her husand, who just died, and she woke up face-to-face with who she *thought* was her own husband! I really didn't like that part. I dispise Mayama/Rika for that reason, and because of the fact that Rika, obviously doesn't want to date Mayama, he's just being beligerent.

Yamada deserves better.

The phone thing was just hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing. In fact I went back to watch it again to make sure I got Nomiya's name right and started laughing again. XDD

Well, that's the beauty of storytelling. There's only one story, but it can be interpreted in many different ways. That's just what it seemed like to me. ^_^;
