queendork56Wow... did quite a lot today. I went to bed early last night. (10:30 to be exact.) I was all happy when I went to bed cause I thought I could get in a full night's sleep. (Haven't been to bed before 12:30 since forever.) But no... woke up at 3:00 with heartburn. Bah. Tried to go back to sleep... but couldn't. So I stayed up and watched an episode of .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet that was on my DVR and was getting ready to watch Last Exlie, but I started getting sleepy again. Woke up at 9:30 this morning, rubbed a hand through my hair, and promptly went Christmas shopping.
I put the money in my checking account so I can use my debit card to get myself a paid journal and the 50 userpics things (I'm an icon whore!) and I'm also getting Rose the 50 userpics too. Got Lana's giftcard and mailed off my Christmas cards. Then I went shopping for my mom. I got her a toaster, some backing pans, a shirt, perfume, and a CSI CD-ROM game. I really hope it works on crappy computer. I think we need a sound card though. Oh well... we're planning on getting one with mom's income tax refund anyway.
I did a rather crappy wrapping job this year as I always do. Mom already opened her toaster and I opened one gift today too. I got a digital alarm clock/radio/CD player in one! It's so cool. Very tiny. I know at least one other present and that's the Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Extended Edition DVD, but that's cause mom already told me she was getting it for me. I hope she got me some blank CDs... I really need some. Oh! And I know I got something with Robin from Teen Titans on it, just don't know what it is.
When we went back to the store to get hair dye for mom I saw Tara. She has gained a lot of weight since having Gavin. She used to be rail thin (underweight) but now she looks about normal. Gavin is a huge baby. He's only 5 months, but I would have guessed about 11. I have no idea how that baby came out of her. And I saw Andrea today. I haven't seen her since way before graduation senior year. She's married with a little girl. I didn't realize it till I saw her but it's been a year since Bo died. I still can't believe he's gone. I also heard that one of my other old friends, Savannah is having a baby too. Man I'm so glad I didn't fall into that rut... that's three of my old friends (that I know of) that are married and four (that I know of) that have babies or are pregnant.
Oh! Something else I just found out today and really, really want. Volume One of the Fullmetal Alchemist DVDs comes out on Feb. 8th. Ack! Must get. Must have. Must buy. Mustang! Hehe.
