queendork56I hope that everyone in Rita's path is making it out okay. We're supposed to get at least three days of rain (that's not counting the stall out that's predicted) and at least two feet of rain within that time (also not counting the predicted stall.) Our main part uptown will probably flood a bit. We have a really bad drainage system here. They really need to put in a better system like the next town over (where I used to live) did. They put in a giant drainage ditch that runs the length of the whole town from east to west. Hopefully it won't get too bad though. Our house is sitting on a hill so I don't have to worry about getting flooded in front of my door.
Other than that... I got nothing for this entry.
But again... if I go missing from the net for a while, it's because our Internet is cut off.
EDIT: Apparently the people here are acting like Rita is gonna hit us and only us. The people who live here in freaking Southeast Oklahoma are freaking out. I mean... I know we border Texas, but Texas is a BIG STATE and I think we're gonna be pretty much okay. What we here should be concerned about are tornados popping up like they did in Mississippi (or was is Alabama) when Katrina went through.
Other than that... I got nothing for this entry.
