Meanwhile over at the 2nd Division the King of Soul Society Bling is eating... again.

It must suck to be the guy in the 2nd Division who gets stuck sweeping the floor.

Look it's everyone's favorite angsty girl ninja!

I bet that Soi Fong writes angsty poetry about the bitterness of her soul and the deep river of anger that runs through it... someone needs a hug!

So.. Renji's sunglasses (the ones that Ichigo keeps breaking) cost an entire paycheck... how much did Oomaeda's bling cost?

And over at the 8th Division, Shunsui doing what he always does... nothing much.

I love that Nanao had to bring her Giant Book of Randomness to the roof with her.

Sometimes I wonder if Nanao's big, old book is actually her Soul Cutter and it records everything that happens in her general area. Hmmm... I wonder if it would be a military comedy or a romance novel...

Shunsui says it'd be a romance novel to end all romance novels.

I have to say that Shunsui looks much better in this episode than he did the last time we saw him.

I didn't mean that for that cap though cause that's like up his nose and stuff... I mean overall.

He's so checking Nanao~chan out. Like he said.. romance novel.

I love that Nanao adjusts her glasses in a totally different way than Ishida. (I'm about half Nanao-like and half Ishida-like glasses adjuster. To the side, less dorky looking. Middle finger on the bridge, it's helpful for flipping people off in public.)

And one last shot of Nanao~chan before we leave.

This is Ken-chan. Ken-chan is not happy. Ken-chan listened to Yachiru's directions and it lost. Again.

This is one of my favorite random things in the manga. Kenpachi is lost and Rukia and everyone else is heading the execution and then there's Ikkaku, blocking Yumichika's face.

There sure are a lot of dead ends around here... anyone could get lost.

Yachiru did it again...

I told you not to listen to her. She couldn't find her way out of a cardboard box.

Uh-oh... you better run, Ikkaku! You're in the sights of the fierce predator the Yachiru!

Breaking News: Finally, after years of failed attempts, the Yachiru's hunting tactics have been caught on tape. Now here we have one Madrame Ikkaku of the 11th Division. He's just insulted the Yachiru's natural sense of direction which, of course, will bring the wrath of the Yachiru to it's fullest. He also clearly isn't aware that the Yachiru is attracted to shiny, round things. You can see that he doesn't suspect a thing. He's totally going to be caught off guard by this attack. As you can see near the top the Yachiru has already started her attack. Her face carries a look of rage and her teeth are exposed. She's really going in for the kill.

Now here you can see that contact has been made. The Yachiru has fiercely attacked this young man and you can see that he's just realizing that something isn't right. Now once the teeth of the Yachiru make contact they are very hard to remove.

Here we can see the Yachiru is bringing her body around to fully capture her prey. I really... I really feel bad for this poor creature. He had no awareness to the danger that surrounded him.

Here the Yachiru is still bringing her body in to complete her hold on her prey. You can see look of concentration on her face.

Here the Yachiru has just about gotten a perfect hold on her prey. You can see the agony on his face. I can tell you... his pain is far from over.

Now the Yachiru has fully taken hold her prey and started drool release. This drool will coat her prey and leave it completely paralyzed.

I apologize to those with weak constitutions. I know these are quite graphic images you are seeing, but this is just something that needs to be seen. You can see the sheer pain and agony on Ikkaku's face. He just had no chance.

Here Ikkaku's natural defense instincts have kicked in.

He attempts to remove the Yachiru's death grip, but it's all in vain. There's only one thing that will get the Yachiru to release her prey and that's the call of the elusive Ken-chan.

And finally Ikkaku just gives up in with a cry of frustration and despair.

Okay... that was the weirdest thing I've seen.

Captain... can't we get rid of them? Really... she chewing on his head. It's just so... not terrifying.

The Yachiru still has a hold on her prey.

The home improvement stores in Soul Society must make tons of money.

Why does everyone (except for the Yachiru and her prey) look totally shocked? (Did Yumichika just fall in love?)

And over here everyone but Orihime is shocked.

Tousen is looking kinda scary.

Go away. Your ugly is bothering me.
