Okay... I'm really not liking my dog right now... at all.

He keeps breaking off his damn chain. If it's not one thing it's another. First he kept breaking his collars because the only ones we could find that fit him were those shitty syntheic fibers ones. Well he broke off his chain on Tuesday night and we had to keep him in the garage and yesterday we finally found a leather collar that would fit him. So just a few minutes ago I heard this dog barking at the mailman. I thought it was one of the neighbor dogs because they sometimes get loose, but no... it was our dog who has now broken his chain.

ARRGH!

Also... we are totally skirting the line on the city ordinance for grass height. We're supposed to be getting a lawn mower to use (we don't own one) on Saturday so we've got one day of "I really hope the they don't come by and give us a 40 dollar ticket."

Does the city come with a ruler and check the height of your grass? I just find it hilarious there's a ordinance on grase height.

What kind of dog you have? Cause he must be one big ass one if he keeps breaking his chains LOL

I have no idea how they do it, but it's there... and our grass is seriously tall.

He's not even big! He's about smallish-medium sized, but he's got a lot of muscle. His back legs are solid muscle and he's not even a young dog! He's like nine years old! He even has gray hair on his muzzle!

You have a grass height ordinance? O____O Whoa, bizarre. Back in school we had a rule on school uniform skirt lengths, and the prefects/discipline mistresses actually went around with rulers to check that our skirts weren't breaking the rule. I have this sudden vision now of your city ordinance enforcers doing the same thing with grass.
