More anime stuff to follow up the entry from a few days ago.

So after taking two days and watching all of Mai-HiME (which was amazing I might add) I decided to check out Mai-Otome. The first episode was really good. Started out the Mai-Hime did... introduce you to the major characters, gave you a sneak peek of the way the future battles will be, and left you with a lot of questions. I'm really happy that Nao will be in this season. I have such a love/hate relationship with her. (I could do without Shiho though. Oh how I hate Shiho.) Even Nagi is back (I love that little bugger.) Plus Haruka has the mace power that she had in the Mai-HiME manga which I always thought fit her perfectly. Although this cap from the opening makes me very, very happy. ^_^

I also checked out a series called Jigoku Shoujo. It's really different, I'll give it that. Right now it looks like it will be episodic in nature, so I don't know how the story will hold up. I'm hoping that it will tie together and be good. (Also Non-tan is gonna be in episode 3! Yay Non-tan! ^_^)

I also finally got around to watching the first episode of Cluster Edge. It was totally different then I thought it would be. It has the potential to get really good. As I said before the summary made me think of Mai-HiME but with boys and in fact the first episode did sorta remind me of Mai-HiME's first episode. I'm hoping that since Sunrise's pseudonym is down as one of the creators that the same people who came up with Mai-HiME's storyline had a part in Cluster Edge.

Still waiting on Paradise Kiss to be subbed, but I am totally in love with the opening.

I watched Mai-Otome at last weeks anime club meet..I wasn't really into it though, mainly because I've not seen Mai-Hime and I'm not really into the whole magical girl thing...

ohh your mention of Paradise Kiss anime last time made me buy the manga today :D I hope someone subs it soon because it sure does look pretty pretty ♥ (and it has a franz ferdinand song as an outro! haha!)

I hope that Mai-Otome is as good as Mai-HiME was. Mai-HiME was a huge emotional rollercoaster and from watching the first handful of episodes I had no idea that it would turn into something as good as it was.

I'm so ready for ParaKiss to be subbed. I really like the look of the anime although everyone is complaining about the changes in character design... I like the changes because I'm not a Ai Yazawa character designs anyway. I'm so ready for it.

from that picture I saw at animenewsnetwork of ParaKiss..I can't see any change? o_o (then again saying that..I only really read the first chapter of the manga xP) I like the bold colours though :)
