And the whole issue is amusing. She has her own journal entry about this and it's longer thank yours. Oh, and if that wasn't enough, there's quite a bit about icon theft in her userinfo too.

I remember back in the days when I was active on DeviantArt, I would hunt these sorts of happenings and feed on the drama. Nothing like a little scandal to brighten up the day. Sadly, I don't have any more time for it. :(

That person's karma will definitely drop, don't worry. Pigeons shit from up in the air regardless of where they are exactly for people like this.

Thank you for pointing me to that. I went and said my thing about it. I'm done with it.

I've seen someone rip their entire gallery down when someone steals their fanart. It's really sad (I tend to stay as far away from fanart as possible when it comes to making graphics). Even though I didn't sit and draw out all of the line in that icon I did put a good bit of time into and didn't provide a black versions of the icons I made so they could be used by someone who doesn't even acknowledge that someone else put work into their icon.

Yes, I've seen those kinds of things too. It's so horrid when an artist is forced to take down all his/her works because of people like this. The ones who suffer the most are the fans. Heh.

I hope you will continue making icons. I personally only use these blue cat ones, but I love looking at yours. They're so funny. And let's not forget the colorbars, I use those. ^_^

I understand why you're so upset. You worked hard on those icons and thieving is disrespecting that work. Sadly some people can't seem to understand that.
