Oh goodness... there was, let's see, about four times I was ready to cry because I thought that Mugen and/or Jin were dead. When Mugen got shot, when Jin got stabbed on the cliff, when the explosion went off, and when Mugen and Jin collapsed after their last duel. (I knew Jin was gonna live at least a little longer when he fell off the dock... he wasn't all smexy with his hair down and partially naked yet.)

I'm so glad it ended on a happy note. I cried like a baby through the end of Bebop... I was hoping that Watanabe wouldn't let anyone die.

And I gotta give a big "WTF?!" to Fuu. How can you think about Mugen when Jin is standing next you about to say something really important? And how can you worry about Mugen when Jin is all bleeding with his hair down and no glasses and partially naked? I'd have molested him to death.

When Zoro fights he uses three swords. When Zoro was a kid he started with two swords. He picked up the third through something I won't spoil.


When Mugen fights he uses one sword. But in episode 23 of Samurai Champloo Mugen plays a game of baseball and when he goes up to bat he uses two bats.


Coincidence? You decide. But keep in mind that River a.k.a. Reverse!Kira from IGPX is also voiced by Kazuya Nakai and in this week's episode he spars with the main character guy with two bamboo swords... If Reverse!Kira turns out to be a pirate...

...I'm just saying...

I mean... let's see-
1) When Fuu cried out from falling off the cliff... Jin went to find her.
2) Jin was the FIRST to go after her when she ran off, Mugen didn't even move.
3) . . . I'm sure there are a dozen more times something like that happened, I'm just forgetting.

As for me... Had Jin appeared in front of me looking that damn hot, the show would have gotten an NC-17 rating for the end of that episode.

I thought the ending of Samurai Champloo was the best I've seen to date. It fulfilled everything I had hoped for throughout the series.

Mugen is teh shit. That is all. ^_^
