So the first part of the episode was a recap, but I liked the Radio Kon type deal. Esp. when Hitsugaya came in and froze Kon. (The ice comes from his crotch.)

Fights that got recapped (Kon, Ichigo, Renji, Ishida, and Yoruichi all popped up for comments):
- Ichigo vs. Renji (Battle Before the Stairs)
- Ichigo vs. Kenpachi
- Ishida vs. Mayuri
- Hitsugaya vs. Gin
- Renji vs. Byakuya
- Yoruichi vs. Soi Fong
- Ichigo vs. Byakuya (Battle on the Hill)

Hitsugaya handles the recap of the Aizen business.

Then we go into the "One week later" thing and pick up with the 4th Division. (And OMG! Hanatarou was in the background! At least the anime didn't forget him.)

They cut out the part where Matsumoto offers a drink to Ichigo and Orihime. They also cut out Shunsui trying to get some of Matsumoto's booze and Matsumoto offering a drink to Shuuhei.

They added a scene where Rukia, Ichigo, and Orihime have dinner with Kuukaku, Ganjyu, and some of the other people in the alley (like the old man they were talking with when Ganjyu showed up and Ganjyu's lackeys and the twins who live at Kuukaku'a place.)

I really like the scene that follows it. It goes back to the Seireitei and it's the middle of the night and Renji is out wandering the streets looking for Rukia (He can't let Ichigo make time with his girl!) and then Ishida walks by calling for Orihime (He can't let Ichigo make time with his girl either!) and then Kenpachi goes running by looking for Ichigo. (Awww at Renji and Ishida looking for their ladies. :P)

Then they all go back to the human world and I really like that they showed Ichigo getting off Urahara's flying carpet at the riverbank where Masaki died. I thought that was a nice touch. (I thought it was cute when he used his speed to get home.)

Isane's nightmare that she had in whatever chapter that was (I think it was the one with the Byakuya/Hisana story) is in the Shinigami guide.

Now let's get to the filler talk!

There is a long preview for it and quite honestly... I have no idea what's it about. We see a lot of different stuff... Ichigo kicking Hollow ass, Isshin trying to kick Ichigo by coming in through the window, Ishida, Chad, Orihime, and Tatsuki at school, the peeps at the Urahara shop, Orihime's fairies flying around and her looking winded, Chad in this warehouse type thing, Kon's ruined body, three new badguys(?): A guy with a top hat, a little girl, and a guy with a hood over his face and red hair, Ichigo fighting some kind of fire-monster-thing and most importantly: Renji... dressed like a hippie.


Even though they didn't show Matsumoto trying to get Shuuhei to drink... they did add this:

I think that Matsumoto could drink Shunsui under the table. (She stores it in her boobs.)

Renji in the filler:

This was my favorite shot of him from the preview, but there are two others... one where he's eating a bowl of rice and one of Ichigo clotheslining him. But we do get to see that he's wearing bellbottoms. XD

And one of our new baddies:

I'm going assume three things about this person: 1.) This is a man. 2.) This man is the leader of this little group. And 3.) This man is very hot. (Whoohoo! More redheaded loving!!)

Ah... what the hell... here are the the other two Renji caps from the preview...

Dude... it's just food. (I can't wait for the Ikkaku/Yumichika-Prepackaged food is evil moment in the new arc.)
