Ah... another anime season is here. And this month looks totally "meh."


Fate/stay night -- The only one on my list of shows to check out that I've seen. First episode was very meh. I've heard the second episode picks up quite a bit. I'll probably keep with it though cause it's got Non-tan. :P

Ayakashi~ Japanese Classic Horror -- The latest series in the Noitamina time slot, (Honey & Clover and Paradise Kiss were both aired in the Noitamina time slot.) Will feature the writing talents of Chiaki Konaka (Lain, Texhnolyze... two total mindfuck series.)

Nerima Daikon Brothers -- From the director of Excel Saga. Looks absolutely hilarious.

Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora -- Probably the series I'm looking forward to most. It's only six episodes long though. I've heard it might cross over with another series, Shinigami no Ballad, though. No clue if that's true.


Then in February I'm looking forward to...

Hellsing Ultimate -- Pushed back from the beginning of January to the beginning of February... We all know Hellsing so... Based off the manga. Animation (at least from the promo) looks very nicely done. Alucard looks totally hot awesome. (I love the way they did his eyes.) I just wish that Geneon would hurry up and release an US release date and the English voice cast. (Crispin Freeman better be back as Alucard! *shakes fist*)

Ergo Proxy -- From the studio that did Samurai Champloo. I love the character design for the main character. Looks very interesting.


Then March:

Fullmetal Alchemist OVA -- I'll watch it... it's got chibis! It's got military hilarity! It's got a Breda chibi in a speedo. (Thank you promo image! [That has END OF SERIES SPOILERS.]) They've only announced what two of the four episodes are. God I hope the other two are good and anime!Wrath-less.


And finally into spring when April hits!

xxxHOLiC -- Based off the CLAMP manga. Production I.G. doing the animation. Kazuya Nakai as Doumeki.

Ohran High School Host Club -- Studio BONES goes shoujo! I've only read a few chapters of the manga, but I'll give the anime a shot.

NANA -- I wasn't too into the manga. Might give the anime a shot.

Air Gear -- I like the manga. Looking forward to see how they animate the skating.

I can't WAIT for Ergo Proxy I've been waiting last summer for it :D
I need to catch up on FMA..although I think I'm about 20 odd episodes from the ending now so hurrah, chibi FMA sounds rather interesting :3

Am looking forward to Nana, although its a bit slow right now (I'm only at vol 2) and Air Gear too, somehow Oh Great!'s manga dialogue really does my nut in..which reminds me I need to finish Tenjo Tenge aswell.

I'm so excited for Ergo Proxy. It kinda reminds me of GitS. I'm definitely looking out for NANA and Air Gear.

Ayakashi, I might watch. Noitamina seems to able to pick good, if not more than decent series.

The Hellsing OAV was supposed to be out last year... so it's been pushed back a few times. I've had time to read all the manga now and I'm looking forward to this the most out of anything!! Sadly, now I'm up to speed with the manga, I can sigh at how the anime totally drifted away from it by the third episode. Such a shame =(

As for Ergo Proxy -- I'm looking forward to it. I was going to make a community to sister it up with _champloo.. but thought it best not to, seeing as they're pretty much unrelated aside from the studio.
