Woke up this morning and found some nice news on my FL. GINTAMA IS GETTING AN ANIME!

In other news... Bleach 65! These aren't bleach caps... they only look like bleach caps. (If some of the pictures don't work it's because ImageShack is being stupid. I thought I was never gonna get the damn things uploaded.)

We start with a captain's meeting... well what's left of them anyway. But no Byakuya!

After the captain's meeting Shunsui and Ukitake hang out on a roof somewhere and talk about stuff... including Renji!

That brings me to Good Filler Thing #12: Random Trips to Soul Society!

Meanwhile back in Karakura Ichigo has assembled the Junior Detective League.

Ummm... what's with the crouching? Are they gonna die if their asses touch the ground?

Ishida and Renji are having their own little conversation... Ichigo yells at them.

The Junior Detective League decided to question Tatsuki about Orihime's whereabouts...

But it seems that Tatsuki doesn't even know Orihime. (Look there's Chizuru!)

Good Filler Thing #13: Funny Renji Faces

The Junior Detective League heads over to Orihime's place, but finds no one home and the door locked. Chad offers to open the door... but that's breaking and entering.

So Ishida whips out his sewing kit.

And breaks out a needle! (Stand back! If you stare directly at the Ishida while he's sewing you may go blind from awesomeness.)

Ishida picks the lock. (Now a smart person would say... "Hey... Renji is in Shinigami form. Can't he just phase through the wall the same way Rukia did at Ichigo's place?" The answer is "Yes, but look who we're dealing with. None of them are smart enough to think of that.")

Where did Ishida learn to do that?

The Junior Detective League has gained access to the apartment!

Boy Detective Ichigo notices the glass of water is still in Orihime's sink.

Boy Detective Renji decides to investigate the fridge. (I'm so close to calling them by the names of the Scooby-Doo gang. If only Kon were with them!)

Ichigo is stunned.

So they get in a fight.

Our detectives note that there are two cups which means that Orihime may have had company the night before... but their thoughts are interrupted by Renji's cell.

I totally thought I turned this off. I'm sorry, but I gotta take this.

Damn woman... I thought I told you not to call me at work.

Hey... are you having phone sex?

It's not phone sex!

Then I'll have phone sex.

Ichigo gets more phone action in this episode than Roy Mustang in a phone warehouse.

Wait! Is this one of those "the call is coming from inside the house" moments?!

After a short convo with the mysterious voice on the phone... the boy detectives are off!

And by "off" I mean running toward the next phone call as fast as possible.

And by "running" I mean Ichigo and Renji are racing each other.

And by "racing" I mean yelling at each other.

Mommy... why is that orange haired guy yelling?!

Our heroes arrive at a park.

Random Ishida Close-up!!!

Everyone piles into the phone booth for the next call.

Hey wait... did I see a movie once where the main characters raced around town answering phones?

After another short convo they're off again! This time they're headed to a convenience store.

Yo. What's going on? This is a random hot convenience store guy.

And Chad scares the bejesus out of him.

Ichigo makes it to the phone.

And they're hung up on.

And my mind falls into the gutter...

And sets up a tent.

Last week it was Renji and his gigai... this week it's Ichigo and a phone.... ah... filler...

Awww... a phone call interrupts the action.

Ichigo x Phone = Love?

The gang gets their final destination...

And take off running like mad.

Hey Ururu... what's that noise?

It's an assault on the Urahara Store!

AHH! If this is about your sister I never touched her!!!

PPPPHHHOONNNEEE!!!!!!

Oh... what's this? Kurosaki-san and his friends came to visit me!

We're only here to use your phone.

But the phone is for customers only....

More phone action for Ichigo!

Urahara conveniently has equipment to record a phone call stashed in this drawer. WTF Urahara?! I bet he uses it to blackmail people in SS who call him up drunk.

Meet at the girl's apartment tonight or else!

Did I miss the party?

Everyone listens carefully to the playback.

Urahara concludes that he is the sexiest person in the room.

I don't know exactly what Jinta said...

But it got some funny reactions...

From everyone...

Except for Chad who just goes "Mmm" (Chad has the best reactions.)

That night Ichigo and Renji show up at Orihime's place.

Chad and Ishida also arrive on the scene.

*GASP* Bright light! And it's coming from Orihime's! Let's got check it out!

But the door's locked! (Again... why can't they just phase through the wall? Then again... Ichigo didn't phase through the wall when he came back from SS and Kon was dreaming of Orihime and Rukia... has that been dropped and I just wasn't aware of it?)

But the door opens and it's... Orihime!

Ummm... Are you really Orihime?

Orihime can't remember what happened earlier that day... she can only remember the day before. She went to school...

And hung out with her friends. (Complete with Chizuru blowing kisses to her.)

And then I had lunch with Tatsuki-chan.

And then we both got headaches...

And then I came home and had dinner...

And then I went to bed.

Oh... is that so?

But that story seemed to be missing something...

Meanwhile back the the UBI (that's Urahara Bureau of Investigation)...

Urahara is running tests on the phone call?

He concludes that he is still the sexiest person in the room.

Manager... it's time for your astronomy lesson.

Look! I think you can see Mars tonight.

I can't see it.

Oh wait. That's a giant black tornado with red lightening.

Awww... I thought it was Mars.

Meanwhile back at Orihime's place...

Things are tense.

Really tense.

Even Orihime can feel it.

Yep... things are tense all right...

I told you they'd sit around like bumps on a log... didn't I?!

Ishida's Spidey Sense is tingling!

Meanwhile Chad is having problems breathing...

Chad is still having trouble breathing.

Crazy Orihime finally lets him go...

And morphs into Gellow! (His actual name is Cloud.)

We didn't order a magician!

Redhot phases into the room. (At least someone was paying attention to episode one.)

By the way... Redhot's name is actually Nova. (Told you he was a guy.)

Seems like that big gate belongs to them.

We'll be taking this guy with us.

Hey wait! That's not fair!

Bye-bye, Chad! Thanks for playing! We have some lovely parting gifts. (Like being sucked into a gaint gate of DOOM!)

Ichigo tries to go after him. (I really like the music in this scene.)

But the gate closed before Ichigo could get there.

And the duo becomes a trio.

It's Blondie! (Her name is actually Ririn.)

Turns out Ririn was the one calling Ichigo. (Her voice actually isn't annoying! Yay!)

Renji and Ichigo decide to tag team it.

You may think you're sooo smart, but I've got a really big sword!

And there they go!

Ichigo and Zangetsu goes for Cloud.

Renji and Zabimaru goes after Nova. (Two hot redheads in a hot fight with hot action...)

You guys are stupid.

Cloud disappears before Ichigo can get to him.

Nova disappears before Renji can get to him. (Awww...)

Ririn decides to get a better look at Ichigo.

Awww... I think she likes him.

Hey! That's a violation of my personal space!

And everything is gone...


Next week it's a field trip! Yay!

Look! Renji! He's there!

Ishida's there too! And he has a bag!

And Kon! He's there! (And that looks like the strap of Ishida's bag.)

Oh yeah... Ichigo is there too.

Why does everyone look so uneasy?


And in the Shinigami guide... something is afoot at the Urahara Shop.

Uh oh... seems like Mr. Free Loader is sneaking out.

Bad Renji!

What could Renji be after? What could give him that crazed look?

So filler episode #2 is done. Still working up to the overall plot of this arc. Gave me some stuff I wasn't expecting. (I mean I didn't expect to see Shunsui and Ukitake so soon.) I still love the Renji/Jinta interaction. Plus the thought of a Renji/Nova fight got me all happy, but he disappeared. :(

So I guess Cloud was disguised as Sora last episode. I'm still not fully convinced that Ririn, Nova, and Cloud are the bad guys. The only thing that they've done that's actually hurt them was choking Chad. They don't really seem to want to fight Ichigo and them. I think that once Walter, Bitchy, and Mr. Evil (the other three filler characters) enter the picture we'll find out that they're the bad guys. Ririn, Nova, and Cloud just don't feel evil. (Esp. after seeing them in the ending.)

By the way.. names for the three come from Random Curiosity.
